We are a small family business based in East Jordan-- a small community in Northern Michigan. In 2009, we were presented with the opportunity of a lifetime when we started Backdraft Roasting Co. Since then, we have built our company into a community of coffee lovers that we are very proud to call ours.

Our Team at its core:

“Chief” Roaster Glen- not only does he roast the beans to perfection, but he’s proudly served his community in the fire service for 40+ years, first as a firefighter and then as the fire chief for the last 25+ years

“Captain” of Sales Rhonda- behind the scenes, she keeps everything running smoothly; without her dedication, we wouldn’t be where we are today

We have a large support base in our family alone, and they have been instrumental in getting us to where we are today. While growing our company, we are blessed to have raised 7 kids who are grown now with their own families. We are thankful for them and their support over the years.
